Mekoce Shawnee of WV Blanket Raffle
The Mekoce Shawnee of WV has purchased a Patchwork Heritage Quilt and in turn a blanket has been donated to someone in need. Our quilt will be raffled off to raise money to feed our Sanctuary Birds.
The Patchwork Heritage Quilt is a King Size quilt 104"x 90" composed of 12 different patchwork fabrics and combined with the base fabric represents the 13 original colonies on the front. On the reverse side is Lady Liberty holding 2 American flags and features the entire text of President Obama's Inaugural Speech.
The quilt in no way represents our political views but we believe in Americans rights and freedoms. Our birds help educate people on natural history, ecology, conservation and Native American history through our educational programs. Contact us if you would like to schedule a Raptor
