Welcome! The Purpose of the Lower Eastern Ohio Mekoce Shawnee of WV is to restore, maintain, uphold, and promote the spiritual, cultural and traditional values of our heritage and to insure these for future generations.
We are a non-profit, federal recognition pending tribe. We are dedicated to preserving the history and culture of the Shawnee people as well as sharing our traditions within our community.
